The event

The Festival de Cinema Priorat brings short film and auteur cinema to seven villages under the Serra de Montsant. Seven halls, a competition of shorts from home and abroad, and Priorat wineries pouring their wines after every session. All screenings are free.

SCREENWRITER

Screenwriter, film teacher and former director of the Vila-real Film Festival (VIST).
Montserrat Bou

PRODUCER

Producer with long experience, former president of PROA and linked to the Centre Quim Soler.

Oenologist and board member of the DO Montsant and of Prioritat.
Xavi Planellas

AUDIOVISUAL

Audiovisual professional and resident of Poboleda, representing the La Llicorella youth association.

ULLDEMOLINS

Driving force behind many local initiatives, on behalf of the La Carena women’s association.

GASTRONOMY

Chef and gastronomic reference of the territory, representing the Centre Quim Soler.

Filmmaker and founder of Artèria Gestió i Promoció Cultural. His short films have won international awards.

PhD in Applied Languages. Combines teaching with producing short and feature films.

COORDINATION

PhD in New Media. Founder of Creative Connector and co-founder of ZONA3. Coordinates audiovisual projects.

ART DIRECTION

Film director born in Tarragona with roots in the Priorat. Organises the La Dona Jove al Cinema Català circuit.
